In this Excel Tutorial I will show you how to use Lower function in Excel 2010.
For the purpose of this tutorial I will use packing slip template.
Lower function converse all upper case letters in a text string to lower case. I will show base on the example.
On the bill address I have full name in upper case. I will go to formula bar, type equal and Lower function. Next I open parenthesis and select the text.
As you can see Lower function accept only one argument. Below, you can see my result - the name was change to Lower case.
I will show you where you can find Lower function. I will go to Formulas tab and select Text. You have to scroll down to find Lower function - select it.
In the Function Arguments window in the text I will select the argument - in my case it will be name. When you select the argument in text, you can see the values and below the result. Next just click OK.
I get exactly the same result like in previous example.
I hope this Tutorial was helpful.
